Port project solutions and services provided by Antipodean Projects (International) group include initial flexible port infrastructure such as the MobiDock™ through our teaming partners National Ports Limited, construction and maintenance services through our technical diving experts and port support vessels through our group company, Southern Ocean Shipbuilders.
Through our association with National Ports Limited, the MobiDock™ provides a logistics hub to support deepwater projects beyond the normal return range of helicopter services from the mainland and is suitable for any large scale development projects where a sea port is needed close to the project site and where no permanent infrastructure is in place. This MobiDock™ solution allows government authorities to better plan long term fixed port solutions after development has been completed to ensure infrastructure is built to suite operational requirements and budgets but improve efficiency and reduce costs through more effective sea port management.
The MobiDock™ is scalable and flexible to meet project needs including staff accommodation, heliport, deepwater aviation navigational waypoint and search and rescue capability, RO/RO berths, lay down and storage area, ship repair and maintenance, to name a few. The MobiDock™ is also a solution to shallow water ports as building deep water berths is expensive and time consuming and ongoing dredging is costly.
