FireFighting Training
Antipodean Projects (International) group in partnership with our joint venture Institute teaches individual and organisational students to become internationally qualified firefighters and also trains industry employees in emergency rescue and fire response from the public safety, oil and gas/petrochemical sectors together with offshore, maritime and aviation industry personnel. Training and skills programs prepare students and organisations for industry certification and credentialing through industry bodies such as the CFAI, Pro Board and IFSAC including NFPA 1407 Standard for Fire Service Rapid Intervention Crews and NFPA 1021 Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications.
The Fire and Rescue training offered can provide initial firefighter training for emergency fire departments, airport, military and oil and gas industry emergency response crews. In addition, it is able to provide support to government department training colleges by providing the college facility and equipment to enhance department training and mentoring. For local and international university students studying Fire Science online, the college instructors and student equipment allows students to complete practical training instead of having to attend any residential study at their enrolled universities or colleges. All training and testing will prepare students for the award of certification to the various listed fire authorities and accreditation agencies.
